Youth Fitness Zone believes physical fitness involves developing upper and lower-body strength, increasing cardiovascular stamina and improving overall balance, coordination, and flexibility. As children gain positive experiences from physical activity and become physically fit, their self-confidence increases.
2012 Recreational Classes:
Spring Session 1 - January 9th - March 2nd (8 wks)
Spring Session 2 - March 5th - May 4th (8 wks)
Session 3 - Summer - June 4th - August 10th (10 wks)
GIRLS’ Recreational Gymnastics (5 yrs. & Up): Fitness Fun! Gymnastics is a great sport for all ages and abilities and provides a wonderful opportunity to develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and self-control. With emphasis placed on correct form and safety, participants will learn skills in a progressive manner on the floor, uneven bars, beam, vault and trampoline, in addition to activities for development of general physical fitness. Sixty minute (beginners) or Ninety minute (advanced) weekly classes ($130-$140 per 10 wk session).
BOYS’ Recreational Gymnastics (5 yrs & Up): A great way to channel their energy and develop incredible body strength, control and flexibility! With an emphasis on correct form and safety, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of men’s gymnastics and learn skills in a progressive manner on the floor, trampoline, high bar, rings, vault, and parallel bars. Sixty minute (beginners) or Ninety minute (advanced) weekly classes ($130 per 8 wk session, $140 per 10 wk session)
In addition to classes, they offer host birthday parties, offer open gym and have summer camps!
